Esther was brought to her first yoga class to cope with a chronic pain condition, and the outcome was a healthier, stronger and happier self. She got hooked and continued taking and exploring various style of yoga -from hatha, vinyasa, hot yoga and yin, to ashtanga and yoga meditation. Beyond her initial expectations, Esther realized that the benefits are not limited to physical health. Yoga has opened a new world and revealed a new way of living to her.
Esther had a great interest in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practice and philosophy, and hence has incorporated her understanding and knowledge of acupoints, breath work, meridian into her yoga practice and her teaching.
Focusing on proper alignment, breath control, the use of yoga props, Esther's classes tend to have a slower pace, more detailed explanation and demonstration. Through emphasizing movements and breath, and awareness of the mind, she teaches students to allow the intelligence of their own bodies to cleanse and rejuvenate.
